Supporting our People & Community

We are committed to partnering with growers that farm organically or are certified through a third-party certification program such as Napa Green or the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance. Our Cold Springs and Croquet Estate Vineyards are CCOF certified organic and Napa Green certified.

Sustainable Food & Farming

All 90 acres of Clif Family estate vineyards and farm are certified organic and certified Napa Green, a “soil-to-bottle” sustainability program.

90% of the organic produce served at our Bruschetteria Food Truck comes from our Clif Family Organic Farm.

We source certified organic ingredients for our line of specialty food products.

We are committed to improving the efficiency of our crop inputs and increasing our soil organic matter and plant diversity.

Supporting a Healthy Climate

100% of the electricity to power our business comes from renewable sources through our participation in MCE’s Deep Green program, a Community Choice Aggregator that provides power from local solar and wind energy projects.

We now sell Solar Grown™ honey produced from beehives located in solar arrays that are planted with native flowering plants that provide food for honeybees and other at-risk pollinators.

Zero Waste

Approximately 12,000 pounds of food waste for our Food Truck is composted back to the land each year.

Through our commitment to sustainable packaging, we are working to transition all our food products to recyclable or compostable packaging by 2025.

Supporting our People and Community

Our employees each donate 16 hours of company time every year to volunteer work in our local community, contributing almost 700 hours of community service on paid company time.

Our monthly Sip & Support program provides monetary donations to 12 local non-profit partners each year, contributing approximately $15,000 to our local community each year.

Our employees receive added benefits to support a healthy mind, body and soul including a monthly wellness stipend, reimbursements for national park passes and athletic events and ongoing employee education.
