Eagle Cycling Club Ride at Clif Family – May 16th

In partnership with Clif Family, Eagle Cycling Club leads one Sunday ride per month between March and October that begins and ends at the Clif Family Tasting Room, 709 Main Street in St Helena. All rides roll promptly at 9:00am. Helmets are required. All non-Eagle Cycling Club members are required to sign a liability waiver.

Franz Valley/Porter Creek Route

Leaving Clif Family, we will take Charter Oak and Pope St to the Silverado Trail, turn left, then right on Deer Park Rd, left on Sanitarium Rd, then left on Crystal Springs Rd, to return to the Silverado Trail. Turning right, we will head north to Dunaweal Lane, turn left, then turn right onto the Dunaweal Lane/Washington St bike path to Calistoga. We will continue on Washington St, turn right on Oak St, left on Grant St/Myrtledale Rd, left on Tubbs Lane, left on Hwy 128, right on Petrified Forest Rd, right on Franz Valley School Rd, left on Franz Valley Rd, left on Porter Creek Rd, right on Calistoga Rd, then left on St Helena Rd. From that point, we begin a 7 mile climb to the Napa County line, then descend 6 miles to the end of Spring Mountain Rd in St Helena. Then we will turn left on Madrona St, right on Oak St, left on Mitchell Dr, right on Hwy 29, then right on Vidovich Ave into Clif Family.
This ride is about 43 miles and includes about 4,300 feet of climbing.
